As my film is aimed at late teens up to adult viewers, making this production seem realistic was quite hard. As us being in sixth form/college and adults not having spare time to be in the production we had to get older looking students to play older parts.

REPRESENTATION OF GENDER

In horror or thriller movies the females are stereo typically seen as " damsels in distress" and submissive to have major impact in the films. We decided to follow the normal industrial flow but allowed the film to be based around several females which would be introduced as the film went along. Although we didn't subvert from normal stereotypes we still incorporated things that allow our movie to differentiate from other movie.
