Screen Gems is an American film production. It is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group. They specialize in low budget independent films.
They are perfect to produce our film as they have produced other low budget films like Attack the Block and as a division of Sony they will have the resources to produce this film.

WHat kind of budget to produce the film?
My film is an independent film so the budget would be relatively small. It would cost between £3-5 million.
The reason our film is quite low budget is due to the limited number of elaborate locations, the lack of CGI or visual effects.
A similar film to ours, Attack the Block, had a budget of £8 million. It is understandable that it is slightly higher than ours due to Attack the Block featuring CGI and visual effects, also the locations were far more elaborate and intricate than ours.
