CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT IN HIGH SCHOOL

  • To ensure attention of all students:
    • No shushing  or yelling
    • No talking while any students are talking
    • Practice being an effective public speaker
  • In high school, a big part of classroom management= discipline
    • When lecturing "rowdy" students, talk to them calmly, respectfully, let them talk, don't stay mad or judge for behavior

What does a day in your classroom

look like?

  • GROUP WORK
    • Knowing each other from the first day
    • Respecting each other
    • Learning in workshops

  • CLASS STRUCTURE
    • Benefiting from being familiar with each lesson
    • Creating lessons with varying activities

Tip: Select members of the group by grade levels. Make sure that in every group there is an "A" and an "F" student
