Have a Plan

  • Give your project some structure
    • Thesis, Introduction, Conclusion
  • Have an outline 
  • Plan out your shots
    • Include "B-roll"
  • Script monologues
  • Write out interview questions, but plan for follow-up questions

  1. Use a tripod (!!!)
  2. If you don't have a tripod, use walls, trees, tables, or anything else to help stabilize the camera
  3. Move closer (zoom exaggerates movement)
  4. Use the image stablizer in processing
