Aboriginal Shelter

What were the shelters made from?

The aboriginal shelters were normally made from branches and then covered with leaves and sheets of bark. In wet condition the aboriginals made  dome-shape shelters were made. Sticks were bent over and bark, grass and leaves were used to cover the shelter.

How did they protect themselves from the sun?

I think that the aboriginals would protect themselves from the sun by building or making their shelter with more elements to make it thick, so the sun rays would not be viable.

If you were living in the middle of Australia, what materials would you use to make shelter?

If I were living in the middle of Australia, I would probably use most of the same elements as the aboriginals themselves. These would include bark wood and sticks.

THE END!
