category consistency
Category naming will be consistent throughout all applications.
- Category names (countries, topics, item types) for all SG apps will be determined in Oreo
-
Standardised category names will ensure easy user transition from app to app
- We are NOT limited to use the exact same names for countries/regions throughout all apps
data integrity
Changes to core item data will only be possible in one place.
- A high level of data integrity will be maintained by only allowing a few qualified individuals to change core data
- Data validation in the Oreo UI will prevent many types of data entry error
- Inconsistencies in core item data from app to app will be virtually eliminated
-
Updates to data will automatically filter to all SG applications
subscriptions
A subscription system will be possible in which a user could subscribe to a collectible item/country/topic.
- Subscribed users will receive notifications when:
- changes occur to their subscribed item/country/topic
- new stock items are added for their subscribed item/country/topic
comparison pages
The Marketplace will be able to provide single pages from which a user could purchase any version of an item.
- Each collectible item in Oreo will be linked with each of its available stock items
-
Available stock items which are linked to the same collectible item in Oreo will be linked to one another
my collection value tracking
My Collection subscribers will be able to track the value of their collection over time.
- Users can clearly see how their collections have increased in value
- User can draw comparisons between current & past collection values
- The same data & techniques can be applied to the SG Investment site
