    category consistency


    Category naming will be consistent throughout all applications.


    • Category names (countries, topics, item types) for all SG apps will be determined in Oreo
    • Standardised category names will ensure easy user transition from app to app
    • We are NOT limited to use the exact same names for countries/regions throughout all apps



    data integrity


    Changes to core item data will only be possible in one place.


    • A high level of data integrity will be maintained by only allowing a few qualified individuals to change core data
    • Data validation in the Oreo UI will prevent many types of data entry error
    • Inconsistencies in core item data from app to app will be virtually eliminated
    • Updates to data will automatically filter to all SG applications

      A subscription system will be possible in which a user could subscribe to a collectible item/country/topic.



    • Subscribed users will receive notifications when:
      • changes occur to their subscribed item/country/topic
      • new stock items are added for their subscribed item/country/topic

      The Marketplace will be able to provide single pages from which a user could purchase any version of an item.


      • Each collectible item in Oreo will be linked with each of its available stock items
      • Available stock items which are linked to the same collectible item in Oreo will be linked to one another

      • Users can clearly see how their collections have increased in value
      • User can draw comparisons between current & past collection values
