Summer Holiday Planning

Budget = £4000 for the two of you MAX.

If you spend less than this - that's ok! Just no more please.

OK! First - How long are you going to go for?

Decide; 1 week? 10 days? 2 weeks?

The longer your holiday is, the more expensive it is.

If you want to go somewhere exotic like Jamaica then your budget would only really let you go for 1 week.

If you'd rather go somewhere like Spain or Greece then you and your partner could afford 2 weeks.

Discuss with your partner;

What are your plans?  Where do you think you want to go?

The first thing you will need to plan is...

1) Hotel and Holiday Destination

2) Flight times and cost

3) What kind of holiday? Lets quickly find out about the different options that adults have when booking a holiday

There are 5 main kinds of holiday. Which one works best for you?

1) All Inclusive. These are the most expensive BUT all of your food, snacks and drinks is included in the price so most of the times it works out cheaper than going out for dinner each night.

2) Half Board. You get breakfast and dinner included but you have to buy everything else your self.

3) Bed and breakfast. You only get your breakfast included.

4) Self catering. These are usually the cheapest and you get to choose where and when you eat. But eating out every day will get very expensive!
