We decided to use Miss Stokes as the mother because she is the around the same age as the character. She also can adapt to the character well due to the fact that she knows the character of the back of her hand.
Casting
In addition, we chose Jade to play the role of the daughter. This is because she is around the same age of the character and fits the character personality well, for example she is shy and timid.

We decided to use Miss Ledlie
to play the role of Miss Hendricks because naturally she has a nice and friendly personality and that would fit Miss Hendricks's personality very well.
Casting
We decided to have Miss Sidhu to act as Miss Sahota because we needed someone who can play a role that is very friendly and welcoming to children and we know that Miss Sidhu would execute that part very effectively.

We decided to use Miss Sheikh to act as Miss Malick because she has all the characteristics of a very good teacher, she's friendly, helpful and caring. This is essential for a teacher that works in a primary school with young children.
However, we needed some of these casts because we needed to carefully review our narrative and making changes, thus as a result our casting had to be changed.
