Moldcamp 2014

First Drupal Camp in Moldova.

Moldcamp 2014 achievements:

  • 9 Sponsors, 14 Partners
  • ~140 Attendees
  • 33 Sessions, 3 Tracks, 3 Languages, 3 Levels
  • Official Party, CxO event, Coffee & Wine Breaks
  • 2 days worth of sharing and fun
  • Placement of Moldova on the International stage

Moldcamp 2015 achievements:

  • 110 Attendees, more international folks
  • 30 Sessions, but more international speakers
  • Better WiFi / Internet connection
  • Code Sprint before the event (first Moldovan code-sprint)
  • 6 Sponsors and over 15 partners 

What did these events prove?

  • Well...
  • Moldova has the 2nd largest Easter European Drupal community, after Ukraine.
  • We have lots of strong, Senior Drupal Developers that are working on International Large-scale Projects
  • We have great local / international Drupal Companies, that are actively supporting the community that they care about

That's not just about Drupal,

we're just an example.

We do have

Some have meetups

Some are hungry :)

  • There's Generator HUB and IT Excellence Center

  • We have Startup Weekend (6 editions?) and lots of other events supported by USAID

  • E-Government Automation

  • Great Internet infrastructure (50Mbps* 10$ / month) 

  • Upcoming Tech-Park law-changes w/ 9% tax.
