This story will follow two boys and a girl. All three of the characters will be in different settings however, their actions will somehow interlink with each other. As many other romantic stories, we will witness all three of the characters getting ready to go on a date or somewhere like a party.
The shots will cut between each of the three characters' scenes however, at first, we will only one boy and the girl getting ready. Soon later as the scene progresses, the second boy will come into the scene and this will create an enigma for us as will question who is going on the date and who the last boy is.
Throughout the two minutes, there will be an asynchronous female narration of the main girl. She will be speaking as if she's writing in her diary so it will be informal and conversational. This will give us the idea that she is the lead role.
This genre will lay within romantic-comedy. I have followed the codes and conventions of a romantic-comedy film as I've used a female narrator to narrate the sequence. This connotes that we will have a personal relationship with the female character as it would seem she's directly speaking to us. Also, by showing them getting ready to go on a date is a give away that its a romantic-comedy film.
