It was fun going up hill and being able to view the panoramic sight of lake Como and it’s surroundings. This is a rainy week so I had to cut short the trip but every moment has its value and every small memory that we obtain is precious.
Saving the planet includes saving the wildlife as well. Human Trafficking, abuse, and murder share the same level of impact and legal responsibility as poaching, slaughtering for skin and so on. Time to Act, to change the world- you don’t need to just shout out loud, but change habits like not buying any fur of wild animals, no trophy hunting.
Bats are the only mammals that can fly. They are also among the only mammals known to feed on blood. Common misconceptions and fears about bats have led many people to regard the creatures as unclean disease carriers, but bats are actually very helpful in controlling the population of crop-destroying insects.
Hallstatt city is 7000 years old and has become another one of my favorite cities. There are only around 1000 inhabitants. The lake is about 150 m deep and there is another one adjacent that is 190 m deep; and of course there are stories of lake monsters lurking around.
