Amplify Your Online Presence: How to get a developer job with little or no experience

By Rich Finelli

Amplify Your Online Presence: How to get a developer job with little or no experience

Originally presented at TCNJ's Association for computing Machinery student club. Make the job easy for hiring managers to select your resume from the dozens of others. The focus is on your online presence which allows the hiring manager to learn more about you than they can about any other candidate who lacks an online presence (just about everyone). Do things like convert your college papers into Medium blog posts, use Codepen to create a portfolio showing off your work, and build a StackOverflow score to show off your knowledge and your willingness to be a team player.
