Instance Menus 

(2) Select an instance you'd like to navigate into.

You can see menu buttons which can be run at the current state of the instance.

You can see all EBS volumes attached to this instance if you click "EBS Attached" tab in sub view.

You can see all groupstack members bound to this instance if you click "GroupStack Members Bound" tab in sub view.

Merge Instance to Robustack

'Merge' terminology in robustack is to bring Amazon EC2 resources which are usually created outside robustack into control.

And 'Demerge' is opposite meaning.

(2) Select a resource pool you'd like to merge an instance from.

(3) Click "Merge Instance to Robustack".

Select an instance to merge and enter 'Instance Name' to use.

Select 'Image Type'.

Unfortunately, robustack can merge instance launched only from very limited range of official images, such as 'Quick Start Image of AWS Console'. We cannot gurantee its full functioning even if the merge was successful.

(4) Click "Merge" button.

Now you can see the instance at the instance management view. And its root volume merged to robustack with the name "<instance name> + rootvol", too.

Demerge Instance from Robustack

'Merge' terminology in robustack is to bring Amazon EC2 resources which are usually created outside robustack into control.

And 'Demerge' is opposite meaning.

(2) Select an instance you'd like to demerge.

(3) Click "Demerge from Robustack".

The instance and the root volume will now be out of robustack. But still you can see it thru other control channel, such as Amazon EC2 Console.
