'Housekeeping resources' in robustack means the managing resources in a way which are not related to any groupstack operations, such as deleting a resource regardless of its groupstack membership.
Any activities done through this housekeeping menus may cause incomplete groupstack structure if you don't care much.

(1) Click "Snapshots" in main menu.
Navigating

(2) Select a snapshot or a resource pool you'd like to navigate into.


You can see menu buttons which can be run at the current state of the snapshot.

You can see all machine images base on the snapshot if you click "Machine Images Bound" tab in sub view.
You can deregister an image selecting it from "Machine Images Bound" tab.


You can see all groupstack members bound to this snapshot if you click "GroupStack Members Bound" tab in sub view.

Bulk Deleting Snapshots
Sometimes you need cleaning up unnecessary snapshots, such as which are outdated and no machine images are based on them.
You can delete those snapshots by selecting them among candidate list of snapshots which are not bound to any groupstack members.
(2) Select a resource pool you'd like to bulk delete snapshots from.


(3) Click "Delete Snapshots".

Produced list are for the snapshots which are not members of any group snapshot. And there is no volumes configured to be created from them, no machine images based on them.
(4) Select snapshots to delete and click "Confirm".

Merge Snapshot to Robustack
'Merge' terminology in robustack is to bring Amazon EC2 resources which are usually created outside robustack into control.
And 'Demerge' is opposite meaning.

(2) Select a resource pool you'd like to merge a snapshot from.
(3) Click "Merge Snapshot to Robustack".


Select a snapshot to merge and enter 'Snapshot Name' to use.

(4) Click "Merge" button.
Now you can see the snapshot at the snapshot management view.
Demerge Snapshot

'Merge' terminology in robustack is to bring Amazon EC2 resources which are usually created outside robustack into control.
And 'Demerge' is opposite meaning.
(2) Select a snapshot you'd like to demerge.


(3) Click "Demerge from Robustack".
The snapshot will now be out of robustack. But still you can see it thru other control channel, such as Amazon EC2 Console.
