Why is it important to use math and measurement as a designer?

1) Finish measuring angles 1-10

2)Bring your paper to Ms. Russel so she can check your answers

3)Once Ms. Russel says all of your answers are correct, grab your four colors from the back counter drawer labeled COLORS

4) Color each number the color you circled on the front page

5) Once done, hold on to the packet. I will check it in TOMORROW

6) Grab the 'Check for Understanding' sheet on the FRONT COUNTER. Measure each angle then order Angles A- H from LEAST to GREATEST

7) When done, turn the 'Check for Understanding' into the first hour tray on the BACK counter

8) Nice work! Work on something quietly :)

Measure and trace a 7 by 7 inch square on your piece of paper

Fold your paper in half along each diagonal

Fold the bottom right corner up to the centre crease.

Fold the bottom left corner up to the centre crease.

Take the top and fold it down to meet the bottom centre.

Fold the top of the flap down to meet the outside edge of the paper.

Flip the paper over and fold the top down to make a triangle.

Flip the paper over and fold the top down to make a triangle.

Fold the same piece up again this time in half so a small triangle sticks out over the top. Flip it over again and fold small triangle down to the make the face of the bat.

 Flip the paper over again.

 Take the right edge and fold it into the center.

Repeat on the other side.

Take hold of the bottom of each flap and gently pull open to reveal the wings.
