Process of interaction design


1. Identifying needs and establishing requirements
2. Developing alternative designs that meet those requirements.
3. Building interactive versions of the designs so that they can be communicated and assessed.
4. Evaluating what is being built throughout the process

Understanding problem space

Asking the users if the product will address their problems

1. Select three individuals who are new to the campus

  1. Make pairs from your team
  2. Spot a visitor
  3. Track the visitor
  4. One person meets the individual who was asked by the visitor for help
  5. Notes down the interaction
  6. Other member tracks visitor further

Ask ANY random campus student a location which he/she may not be aware of.

For example: Ask Aurovindo/Chemical Engineering student if he/she can go to the RED Auditorium at SIMSR
