- She was a chemical engineer in profession and now a well known flautist.
- She is trained in Carnatic and Hindustani musics. She is a ghazal lover also.
- Her inspiration is her grand mother Gowri Ramki, an A grade violinist at All India Radio.
- She starts learning violin form her and classical music from her mother from childhood.
- An old flute she got from her shelf that turned her to learning flute and learned it from Dr.Bhavani Rao.
- Her enthusiasm towards music made her travel to India and at the same time explore many forms of music.
- Performed solo Carnatic flute concerts at various venues in the US, Dubai, Chennai and Mumbai.
- Worked with Ghulam Ali Khan and music trio sankar-ehssan-loy.
- Her famous performances include performance in Raasrang World Flute Festival with Neil Mukherjee, a well known Guitarist at Lotus Temple,Delhi
- Her favourite flute is the Indian bamboo flute.
