MC COACH GUIDELINE
A growth model for LC's
the 4 variables
For this growth model, 4 different variables have been identified and divided into specific issues to improve:
- Talent Capacity: Leadership, functional structure, sufficiency of people, clarity of the roles, functional training and organizational culture.
- Strategy plan: Clarity of vision, understanding of current reality, strategy direction, clarity of general timeline, definition of KPI's & MoS, definition of responsibilities.
- Resources: proper resource allocation and effective tracking of expenses.
- Execution: effective communication, accessibility of information, quality of meetings, internal and external accountability.
MC Coach role
The MC coach is expected to provide strategic guidance and improve organizational health.
- Diagnose the 4 variables
- review plan and give advices
- connect the LC in the efficiency of functional areas
MC Visit preparation
After scheduling the dates of the coaching visit, make sure your EB:
The EB must schedule 12 hrs of sessions together
The LCP must schedule a one2onemeeting for each VP
Resources needed: a notebook and pen for each VP, a quiet and isolated place for sessions, 10 flip charts, post-its, projector and speakers (if possible) and internet.
- MAKE SURE YOUR LC has responded the SONA!!!
The Agenda
The agenda and the number of power sessions must be made according to the availability of the EB and LC during the Coaching visit.

Get to know the person before the VP:
- How do you feel?
- How was your experience been so far?
- What would you improve about your life?
- How does AIESEC fit your career?
- What would you improve about your team and EB?
- How is the energy in your team?
- Do you like your leader?
