Section 1

This section contains 2-3 shot texts, you will have to read the texts and answer the questions accordingly. 

The texts will be. related with 'social survival' information.

Writing

Task 1

Write a short letter (150 words at least). The letter may be personal, semi-formal or formal in style.

You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think they should get a job. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:

  • say they would not enjoy going to college
  • explain why getting a job is a good idea for them
  • suggest types of jobs that would be suitable for them

Task card for speaking on a particular topic. You will have one minute to prepare up to two minutes to present.
