Achieving Victory with Charts

Our client has requested a simple bar chart to show their financial earnings over the last year.

I did some user research and the optimal fill color for the bar chart should be "MediumSeaGreen."

Our client has requested some tooltips to show the actual value when the user hovers over the bars in the chart.

Let's update the tooltip design to match our current pattern, which will allow for custom HTML.

Why are we only showing the average per quarter?!

I want to see more data!

Let's try a line chart instead to better align with the client's request for additional data points.

I don't like it. I can't tell where the actual data points are. Can we add markings to the chart?

Why don't we merge a scatter plot with the line chart? The dots can be "DarkSeaGreen." And don't forget the tick marks on the X axis!
