What is SNA?
Social Network Analysis is the study of social relations among a set of actors and a set of phenomena or data which we seek to understand. Social network analysis views social relationships in terms of network theory, consisting of nodes (individual actors) and ties (relationships between the individuals). These networks are often depicted in a social network diagram.
Why SNA?
There are many benefits for SNA , but lets focus on the ones that benefit the banks:
- Build a community and glean product ideas from it.
- Monitor customers posts to learn about product needs and preferences.
- Use social media to craft targeted marketing messages.
- Use social media to help with credit decisions.
- incorporate social media in reward and loyalty programs.
