Responsibilities

  • Tell officers what needs to be done, and what they have to do (aka be a Tyrant).
  • Communicate with Jun and Rosie about club needs.
  • Communicate with outside resources for tech talks, sponsorship, and other activities.
  • Tell officers of BCOE events outside of ACM.

Vice Chair

Responsibilities

 
  • Manage the other officers. Delegate all the work, and you do nothing
  • Help organize, and lead organization of events
  • Publicity! Talk about us, get new members, push ACM in peoples faces
  • Also talks to companies, organizations, professors, etc.
  • Mess up slides, and leave

Secretary

Responsibilities

 
  • SPAM SPAM SPAM THAT EMAIL
  • Help organize and run events
  • Communicate with students, professors, Jun&Rosie, companies, etc. about things
  • Update Membership Roster on the Gmail

Treasurer

Responsibilities

  • Makes sure we have enough funds for everything.
  • Gets money from
    • Dean's Funding
    • ASUCR
    • etc.

Program Chair

Responsibilities

  • Organize events with other officers
  • Plans out the logistics needed for events such as location, materials needed, etc.
  • Advertises events on FB, ACM website, etc.

Historian

Responsibilities

  • Attends ACM events/meetings to take pictures.
  • Posts pictures on FB and ACM website.
  • Keeps the ACM website content updated.
  • Takes notes during officer meetings.

Webmaster

Responsibilities

  • Makes sure that the website doesn't crash (has happened).
  • Keeps updating the website to make it prettier.
  • Helps out with other events.

Membership Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Attend lectures to recruit new members
  • Go to tabling events to recruit
  • Update membership roster on the ACM website.

Officer Nominations

  • Must be an ACM official paid member.
  • Willing to put in the time.
  • Nominees must accept Nomination.
  • Can run for multiple positions.
