Local Programming Competition
- Tentative Date: Saturday, 02/23/13
- Times undecided, but probably 12 -5
- Allowed Languages: C/C++, Java
- Prizes still unofficial
- Neal Young, Marek Chrobak, and Li Yan will be assisting us
- Pizza during competition instead of after it is over
- Start making teams now. Teams of 3 at most. Email acm.at.ucr+chair@gmail.com.
Lab Cleanup this Friday
- This Friday we'll be doing a Lab Cleanup starting at 4/5pm
- Join us to make the clubroom look less messy
- Only cleaning ACM lab, not all labs
- If time permits, maybe we can go chill at The Getaway or get some pizza from Marcello's
Boba Tea House Fundraiser
- Next week, (2/4 - 2/8 Tentatively), we'll be doing a fundraiser at Boba Tea House on Blaine St.
- Flyers will be passed out
- Order drinks/food and mention ACM or give flyer to contribute
- 10 minute walk away

Change of Meeting Time
- Most members cannot make it to the General Meetings on Tuesdays of even weeks
- So we're moving the General Meeting times to be on Mondays of odd weeks from 5-6pm
- Yes, this means there will be a meeting NEXT WEEK
- But there'll probably be pizza at that one ;)
- We'll see how attendance is for that time, since it is hard to gauge who would/n't come given certain times, etc.
E-week
- If you want to show off your cool side-project or other work for E-Week, submit it to us by the end of next week
- Also, we're looking for volunteers for E-Week who would like to help us table
- As of now, we'll be tabling every day of E-Week
- Tabling happens between 11am - 3pm on each day from 2/18 to 2/23 (Monday is a holiday)

HackerRank AI Hackathon
- YC funded startup, Hackerrank is having a back-to-school hackathon this Saturday starting at 12.
- 24 hours to solve 5-6 problems

First place gets $2,000, gets to have office hours with Hackerrank and meet with the founder of Box
- Top 10 get all expenses paid trip to Silicon Valley
Web Workshop Update
- As of now, there are 13 people who have shown interest in the web workshop
- Once it reaches 20 people, we'll start coordinating times and details
- Since it is almost mid-quarter, it is likely this workshop will spill over into next quarter

Dodgeball Tournament
- BCOE Dodgeball Tournament on 02/21/13 (Thursday)
- $10 a team if we register before noon on 02/18/13
- We'll cover the costs
- Starts at 7pm
- 9 referees needed: email lauren.wong@email.ucr.edu if interested
- Max 6 guys, 2 girls on each team
- Start registering now and follow BMES facebook page for more updates

- We're looking for new T-Shirt Designs for next year
- Need to be completed by next quarter
- Submit your designs ASAP and we'll vote on them
- Lan Party will still be held on March 8th from 4/5 to whenever
- Keys from Steam are currently pending
- Lan Party open to anyone
