  • Generally speaking, don't do it
  • Quotes for larger projects:
    • Might be a requirement to create a proposal
    • Set a minimum scope for RFPs
    • Back & forth with prospect: ensure they are considering your company.
  • Personal and existing relationships?

Quoting for Work

  • Interview, determine their needs
  • Scope creep:
    • Set clear minimum offering
    • Breakdown project (mandatory vs optional)
    • Basic costs for additional work
  • Create standards to speed up process
  • Use an invoicing system eventually,
    spreadsheets can work here
