so how to get people to use your products/services?

provide free stuffs?

provide unlimited stuffs?

takes a lot of guts, investment on money, efforts, time

get a great sales / marketing team?

another way to do it :) there are skilled sales force who can sell ice cream on alaska

get a pew dee pie?

influential individuals that most people follows, whether the stuff/game/app really is nonsense at all - some people just install whats hit and famous

or

create a kick ass product/service :)

What people want/like matters a lot - as they will surely go for it

i am one of the late user of FB, why? i kinda hate it.. because around 2007 im earning good from my websites - then FB came and kill it. So i promised that i wont ever use FB.. until some of my client ask me to connect / discuss on FB.. FB became a platform of communication

Entertain >> Well the age of AR, VR, Smartglass & BCI has arrived and its getting in the mainstream / primetime... cool stuffs are here.. adopt as early... early adopters gots the early worm (cash)... dont be left behind...

how to?

provide great & unique user experience

nowadays, people dont want to fill a registration form - they just want to do login/reg using FB,LinkedIn,etc.. Mostly interface should be automatic (save, fill, correct, so on)

hassle free

add simple and continuous

gimmicks

if people will only see your product/service not improving, or nothings new.. it may die.. adding simple gimmicks one by one will keep people tied into your product/service

add a little more of what they ask for :)

if they will ask for coffee - give them coffee w/ art.. if they want a photo gallery - make it 360.. and so on

secure

listen to users and adopt to what they want

this is one of the most important approach, its like giving bait continuously to hook them till they can't get out

then you provided great (unique) user experience

but wait, there's more :)

strategy & timing

this is crucial, as there is always a competition... fb killed friendster, multiply, myspace, etc... through the strategy...
