Primary Audience
Primary Audience is the type of audience that is the main target. Their decisions and views are the ones that actually matter. When it comes to "Family Drama" and a Social Issue combined, the Primary Audience for this type of genre are mainly adults.
Secondary Audience
This type of audiences is completely different to the Primary Audience. These viewers fall outside the Primary. They usually have a link to the major target audience. These also include people looking for inspiration or evaluation of the media product, for example; 'The Ultimate Gift', 'In the Best Interest of the Children' etc. Taking the same examples of the genre "'Family Drama' with Social Issue combined" in mind. The major target audience are young adults and adults, but young children and teenagers could go with them too to view the product.
