The Manson Family is a cult in which Charles Manson was the leader of, there was a lot of members, but the most infamous members of this cult are:

Prior to Murders
- Manson was imprisoned for burglaries, car theft and assault. Along with trying to escape from imprisonment on numerous occasions.
The Crimes
- The Manson Family is famous for two different murder trials. The Tate Murders and The LaBianca Murders. All crimes were planned by Manson himself, and done by his followers. The murders were done over a course of two nights, both done very quickly during late hours of the night.
Tate Murders
Date: August 8-9th, 1969
Victims:
- A pregnant Sharon Tate- Stabbed numerous times while alive and was hung to death by Sadie and Katie
- Wojciech Frykowski- Hung along with Tate by Sadie and Katie
- Abigail Folger- Attempted to escaped chased by Katie and stabbed to death
- Jay Sebring-Shot, beaten and stabbed to death by Tex
- Steven Parent- Shot four times by Tex
The LaBianca Murders
Date: August 9-10th, 1969
Victims:
- Leno LaBianca- Stabbed 40-50 times by Clem and Kasabian
- Rosemary LaBianca-found stabbed 60-70 times by Katie and Van Houten, pillow case on head and wired tied onto a heavy lamp around her neck.

The Trial
Starting in October of 1969 Manson and The Family had began trial for the Tate and LaBianca murders. As always the girls did what they were told to do by Manson whether it was to scream, sing, or remain silent in the court room. Manson carved an 'X' into his forehead to show he was no longer a part of society, and soon after so did a majority of his followers. Manson was denied permission to represent himself and the family in court, and were all sentenced to death.
The Manson Family Today
- The Manson Family have been in prison for a number of years now, and have all been the opportunity to plead their case for parole, but it has yet to be granted to any of them.
