    do not be "stuck" on an idea
    names do not matter
    marketing does not matter
    technology does not matter




    USERS MATTER.


    1. Marketing is not "sales," but the science of knowing what people who buy your product repeatedly think of that product and whether they will buy it again, and why.

    WHAT IS "CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT' to me?




    Being INTERESTED in PEOPLE
    WANTING to UNDERSTAND what they want
    ASKING (not "saying") the right things

    Get to know your customer

    even if it means getting out of your comfort zone!

    OBSERVE.
      Be interested in them, do not be defensive.
      BE HUMBLE.
        You are not selling anything (yet!)
        USE YOUR STRENGTHS.
          There is a reason why you are here - you have some.
          HAVE THICK-SKIN.
