History of the Red Cameras

The genesis of RED stirred in 2005, with the first RED ONE camera being delivered in August of 2007. Jim Jannard, the owner and founder of sportswear and sunglass icon, Oakley, set out to realize his ultimate quest, to build the world's best cameras. Starting literally out of a warehouse garage, he and a small group of pioneers changed the face of the motion picture industry. Based on the RAW file capture of digital SLRs, the RED team engineered a camera capable of recording RAW, 4K images at up to 30 frames per second. Digital cinema, on a modern scale, was born.

PREVISUALIZATION - LEVELS

“Levels” tells the story of a young boy who’s perception of reality becomes so blurred that he one day manages to escape it by stumbling into an alternate video game reality known as “Phaze” on his journey to start a new life. Playing as the hero he’s never been able to be in the real world, the boy aka Player One, gains all sorts of new abilities before soon learning that because of a glitch in the game, he cannot return to the real world unless he completes the game entirely.

With the help of allies he encounters along the way, Player One must level up through different stages of a virtual New York City and overcome any and all forces trying to stop him from reaching his destination and, ultimately, uncovering his destiny.
