What is a computer?
A computer is a machine (usually electronic) that is able to take information (input), and turn it into new information (output).

What is computer programming?
Programming is telling a computer how to do something by giving it instructions. These instructions are called code.
A program is a set of instructions (written in code) that a computer can understand and follow.
A programmer is somebody who writes programs.
