Why is this important?

God, being the epitome of perfection in His attributes and character, everything the relates to Him is demanded of them the same standard.

In His wisdom and power, God created the world.

The world was created without any flaws.

Genesis 1:31

In creating the world, He also created mankind in His own image.

Genesis 1:27

Mankind has a special relationship with the God.

Mankind was given authority over all of creation.

Genesis 1:28-30

Then something happened...

Mankind disobeyed God.

Genesis 3:11 

The relationship between God and man had been tainted.

Sin had entered into the world

There is nothing that mankind can do to restore the relationship

Isaiah 64:6

The crime had been committed, the only thing left is for justice to be served.

Romans 6:23

Sinning against such a Holy God is a capital offense

God has every right to punish mankind for their guilt!

Exodus 34:7

but God...

...being full of mercy and compassion for mankind, stepped in.

God became the Just and the justifier

He sent Jesus Christ into the world for one reason: to save sinners

Living a perfect life

And dying the death that we should have died.

3 days later, He ressurected from the grave giving all who put their faith in Him newness of life.

Romans 6:4

The penalty of sin is death. 

Jesus paid that price.

Will you turn and trust Him to take your sin as well?
