is the total embodiment

of what makes your business unique.  

Your brand is your business's personality.

How is Your Brand Expressed?

  • Logo, fonts & color scheme
  • Tone of voice and "personality" of written content
  • Promotional materials
  • Staff attire
  • Staff "scripts" & guidelines for communicating with your customers
  • Sponsorship
  • Physical Location (prime retail vs. warehouse)
  • Decor 
  • Building architecture (if possible...)

Everything you say, do, or put your name on

either enhances your Brand or detracts from it.

 

The better alignment you have, the more people will recognize and resonate with your Brand.

What matters:

  • Keep it simple
  • Alignment
  • Recognizability
  • Differentiation
  • Documentation
  • Training
  • Consistency

What  doesn't matter:

  • Design fads/trends
  • Literal representation
  • Explaining everything
  • Your personal taste
