(Phase 1) Modelling / predictions (Mar-May 2020)
An operational Data Centre would facilitate readiness for a range of emergency scenarios
Lessons from ongoing work with COVID stakeholders:
(Phase 2) Surveillance / monitoring (Apr - ongoing)
(Phase 3) Vaccine rollout (Jan - ongoing)
All phases have had significant data-handling demands.
We have had limited data + limited RDH infrastructure
Reduced effectiveness / efficiency of UWI response
Needs have been in THREE phases
(2) Institutional UWI in-kind support
(1) RDH as a cost centre
Will allow continued progress after Aug 2021
We will bring in funds from different sources
Funds to be re-invested in RDH infrastructure
Facilitating (1) and (2) maximises the chance of success
eg. staff secondment
