• Data is ingested and retrieved by clients
• Data is Archived via a metadata event or asynchronous iRODS policy
  • This will require a particular API call
• Data is staged from Archive to Object Storage via a request for retrevial
  • A message is reported to the client that the stage is in progress
  • When the data is staged it will be presented by the Object Storage
• Data may also be staged by another iRODS Policy
