Jeremy George Lake Charles Series Corvette

The last C7 Corvette, which also built the last front-engine Corvette, will be auctioned in June at the American Automobile Club of America (ACCA) in Las Vegas, Nevada, for $2.7 million (104,000 dollars). It's real.

Jeremy George Lake Charles The last Corvette with front engine, the C8 Corvette ZR-1, will be auctioned in June this year and sold. Also known as the XP-87, the Stingray Racer Concept was built on one of the two Corvette SS chassis and built as a prototype after the CorvetteSS project was cancelled.

This sports car never went into series production, but it shaped the design of the C5 series Corvette and was discovered and restored a few years later. The sports car was produced as a prototype for the first production model of the Chevrolet Corvette, the Corvette SS, in 1983 and was an influential part of the Chevrolet design process.

Jeremy George Lake Charles After a series of impromptu exterior revisions of what the Corvette would look like, a small Chevrolet plant in Flint, Michigan, was moved, images of a new Corvette design were acquired, and the redesigned Corvette reached the showroom floor.

Today, only the 1983 Corvette proudly shows the factory where the new Corvette was built, and today it is one of only a handful of production cars available.

The redesigned emblem has been on the front of the Corvette since it first appeared in 1953, in the form of a "C" in red, white and blue.
