This is a Cooper Family, they live in a farm, they are dedicated to growing food.

He is Joseph Copper

He is the father of Tom and Murphy. He is a trained NASA pilot and engineer.

Tom Cooper

He is the eldest child of Joseph Cooper. He is a agrarian.

Murphy Cooper

She is a youngest daughter of Joseph Cooper. She is a scientific. 

John Brand

He is the father of Amelia Brand, he is a scientist and director of the remnants of NASA.

Amelia Brand

She is the daughter of Dr. John Brand. She is a chief scientist/biologist.

The begining

The movie starts with the cooper family and the earth with shortage resources. The schools only teachs about the earth and how to care it but not about the science and engineering.

The message

Young Murphy Cooper has a ghost in her room, the ghost always throw stuff and she needs to know what happening then she asks help to her father to resolve the mystery.

NASA

Given that the Joseph Cooper resolves the ghost's message he realized that the message is a coordinates. He follows the coordinates with his daughter and they arrived to the NASA.

NASA's team

This team have the mission to find an other earth suitable for the humans. They have a 3 options and they need to travel via Black Hole so that if they delay so much in the black hole, they couldn't find the home again because the relativity makes the time happen more slow in the black hole.

Dr. Mann

Dr. Mann is one of the first to travel to one of the 3 options for save the humanity. He tried to betray the team but in the try they has an accident when he returns to the  space ship.

Travel in the Black Hole

Joseph Cooper experiments the 4th dimension when he sacrificed your self to allow that the Dra. Brand travel to the correct planet because the fuel just allow one travel more. Joseph turned out to be the ghost for his daughter and he sends the message for your self.

Found the correct planet

After the travel to the 4th dimension, Joseph appears in the Hale or Artificial Earth, this was posible because the Dra. Murphy Cooper resolves the equation for artificial gravity. The Dra. Brand arrives in the correct planet but she have to wait for an other team to be rescued.
