- LA Approval ACT examination board
- Learning agreement ("bijlage 2")
(signed by you, Saxion & partner!) - Scholarship (Erasmus "bijlage 1", SIMS, SHS)
- DUO OV reimbursement
- VISA
- Medical records
Finance

- Debit (EU) vs Credit cards (EU/Non EU)
- Take into account:
- Housing
- Transportation to and from class as well as around the city
- Travel on weekends or breaks
- Entertainment and sightseeing
- Souvenirs and gifts
- Emergencies, such as medical care
- Phone Plans & Alternative Communication Options
The new country

You should try and find info for the following:
- Local culture and traditions
- Good and bad areas of the city you'll be living in
- Common scams to keep an eye out for
- Popular food and drink you should try
- Places nearby that you can visit easily (day or weekend trip)
- How the public transportation system works and what lines you'll likely frequent
- Where the closest embassy is and their contact info
...

- Take medicines with you,
you can't buy everything everywhere!
- Vaccinations
- Travel insurance (often max. 90 days)
- Check communication details in Bison! we need your mobile phone number in case of emergencies.
After the mobility
- Some partners send your grades to Saxion. Some do not!
- It's your responsibility that your grades reach the IAO or exchange coordinator.
- Received a scholarship?
- Often you need to justify afterwards.
- Otherwise --> Payback time!
