The ORGANIZATION
- Florida International University (FIU) is an American public research university in Greater Miami.
- FIU belongs to the 12-campus State University System of Florida and is one of Florida's primary University.
- Its like all Universities, which provide the best facilities like recreation centers, play grounds, dorms, parking and others to the students.
- For this project , anybody associated with the university is a customer like students and employees.
The ORGANIZATION
- Graduate research universities, awarding over 3,400 graduate and professional degrees annually.
- The university offers 191 programs of study with more than 280 majors in 23 colleges and schools.
- FIU offers many graduate programs, including architecture, business administration, engineering, law, and medicine, offering 81 master's degrees, 34 doctoral degrees, and 3 professional degrees.
- Florida International University has two major campuses in Miami, the main campus Modesto Maidique and the Biscayne Bay.

- An Upgrade project for FIU one Card to Biometrics.
- Students tend to loose the FIU one card very often and end up paying for new card. And There is possibility of theft from there account.
- Biometrics system would likely be the most secure way to do any transaction in the University.
- Transaction includes: Attendance, shop, parking, access anything where FIU one card is used.

- Deploy the system everywhere in the university where the FIU one card facility is provided while keeping the current method as optional for the users.
- As users will take time to adjust to the latest technology and trust on the technology to be used.
- After being deployed, can make the FIU one Card obsolete and start using the Bio metrics system.

And to replace the ID card, A Normal ID card can be provided to the users for the Identification.

Bio Metrics System(Finger print scanning) – system extracts the features from the finger and match the records from the database. Based on authentication of match access is provided to the users.

Well-implemented security policy which will runs on a battery immediately during the time of power loss. Inverters are used if the battery gets drained.
