Holographic Touch Screen

Our project consists of three parts :-

• A Touch Screen
• A "Hologram Producer"
• An LCD Display

Our project is a touchscreen calculator.

Touch Screen

• A 7x7 sensor grid which detects the position of an interfering object.
  Yeah, you can do cool stuff in air!
• Originally planned to be implemented using Infrared Sensors.
• Finally implemented using Infrared Sensors in an unusual way.

Hologram Producer

• A small "hologram producer" which projects the hologram into the touch screen's area.
• Originally planned to be implemented using parabolic mirrors.
• Finally implemented using plane glass :D

LCD Screen

• An LCD screen with a paper touch pad which can perform basic arithmetic.
• Originally planned using a 128x64 Graphics LCD Screen
• Finally implemented using a 16x2 LCD Screen

Future Work

• Make a finger tracker using a 128x64 GLCD.
• Make a better hologram.
