Interactive Applications for Online Media
- Interactive Applications for Online Media 1 lays the foundation of developing HTML websites using industry standards tools for development and ease of editing content.
- Client-side script enhancements to create movement within the website are also part of this course.
- The course will also cover the configuring of forms to be used with available server-side scripts to create simple online interactivity.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Identify a variety of web development strategies and tools such as HTML5, jQuery plugins, Cascading Style Sheets and applications for embedding multimedia, to create effective websites;
- Understand the rationale behind popular and effective web design trends;
- Use the technicalities of web development to create standards-compliant websites that are accessible and user-friendly;
- Explain the effectiveness of the website in addressing its objectives and the needs of its users;
- Evaluate web projects according to industry standards; and
- Create dynamic, effective and responsive web projects.
