  • Intense speculation and apprehension on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education (eg academic integrity).
     

  • Application of AI tools to a wide array of knowledge synthesis tasks is evolving fast in the research and industry landscapes.

     

  • Need for forward-looking policies and practices on how to best use these tools to sustainably enhance the student experience whilst preparing graduates for AI embedded futures.

Motivation

  • Provide a forum for experts in AI and education to  share best practice examples of the application of AI tools to improve the learner experience.
     

  • Learn from industry experts and leaders  their vision of future trends in development of AI technologies and how this may impact research and education.
     

  • Organise interactive discussion sessions about the pro and cons of the use of AGI in education.
