How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

My Hardware

Self-Built PC

My PC is a MS-7C56 x64-based PC with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core Processor, 3.80 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and a 30 inch Curved Monitor with a 200hz Refresh Rate.

I built this computer with the help of my brother in 2019, and have had no issues with it so far. It was instrumental in allowing me to complete this project, despite having numerous internet issues throughout the year.

Online Tools

For my blog, I used Wix.com. Looking back, I do regret using Wix simply because of how glitchy and buggy it was for me. I also found Wix not to be user friendly, and frequently had to check out guides and tutorials just to add another page to my blog. I used to see advertisements for Wix on YouTube a few years ago, and I thought it would be a good idea to use it for this project.

Software

The software that I used for this project was an online design program called Canva. I had previously used this software for little projects with my friends back in 2016, and up until now hadn't used it for anything. I had already become somewhat familiar because of this, so when I returned to the program the only real challenges I faced were finding out where certain tools where and how to use them. Thankfully, there were plenty of tutorials (by Canva themselves) that taught me how to do things like animate text and removing backgrounds from images!
