Products & Services

We provide products and services for the entire project lifecycle, from the planning phase where we help identify a valid business model for the planned services, through the operational phases where  the investment will be recouped.

We adhere to proven standards like the CMM maturity model, ITIL best practices, and an implementation with fine grain services (SOA) or microservices.

Ask us about your toughest problem in each of the phases.

note: run-integrate !

Our Mission

We help our customers throughout the software lifecycle, from inception through building and deploying and running a product. We do this by helping them increase their maturity level, according to the CMM maturity model.

1. Planning Phase

Your next product needs a solid business model or else it will become a liability instead of an asset. We can help you build a solid, reliable and presentable business model for the digital world.  Our experienced architects can guide you in the right direction so that the resulting implementations will be open and scalable and not lock you in any proprietary technology.

2. Build Phase

We can help you build a prototype product within given time and budget constraints. Our RapidSOA approach is well proven to deliver predictable results. If you chose to outsource the development we can find the right partner for your project and provide project managers to assist your internal staff.

Trainings & Events

Before the Internet of Things, there needs to be an Internet of Services.                - Marcel Donges, 2005

In this workshop class we teach how to develop a business model for the Digital Age, and then we design and build one for you to present to your stakeholders. Because of the confidential nature of the product design, this workshop can only be booked by companies and two participants each from both product development and IT need to be present for the whole workshop.

The preferred way to produce a rapid prototype is by storing the content in a graph database like Neo4j and using an IDE like structr.

We use this combination for our prototypes and products and invite you to learn how to use these tools. We offer trainings for beginners, advanced users and sys admins.

Business Development 4.0

RapidSOA workshop - learn the agile methodology to create applications with SOA (service oriented architecture)  and build a complete working prototype which will generate revenue for your self-designed digital business model.

Our Business Development classes for Digital Transformation will be held on demand and exclusively for companies who book it.

The first two blocks can be delivered as classroom training in an off-site location. From Business Model Implementation onward, we accompany your projects.

The CMM Maturity Model

The CMM  Model developed by CMU (Carnegie Mellon University) rates quality levels with one out of five stages. The five stages are:

  1. Initial - the basic state if an activity is conducted for the first time, or without any defined process. This leads to the following results: cost, time, quality not predictable
  2. Repeatable - a basic process exists, new projects are based on experience with previous projects. The results are typically: execution time can be predicted, cost and quality will vary considerable.
  3. Defined - the organization has implemented and documented a standardized software development and maintenance process. An organizational unit is in charge of implementation. Cost and timing can be controlled to a large extent, quality will still vary.
  4. Managed - there are quantitative goals for both the product and the process. These goals are measured and monitored. Times, cost and quality can be reliably monitored.
  5. Optimizing - the whole organization is concentrated on discovering weaknesses and further improvement of the process. This is most likely over-engineered and pareto inefficient

This model can not only be applied to IT processes, but to all other kinds of activities and even to whole organizations. We help companies reach the next level of maturity.

Data Center Automation

Is your data center operation a manual process ?

  • How can you be sure that your test environment is exactly he same as your live environment ?
  • Are you ready for Cloud Migration - and back if necessary ?
  • If one server or service fails, how do you know what other services are affected because they rely on it ?
  • If two services fail - which one has a higher priority and needs to be fixed first ?

If you are interested in answers to the above questions, you should get in touch with us.
