This alpine walk in Manning Park is a bit of a drive out of Vancouver, but well worth it, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. The hike begins at the end of the Blackwall Peak Road, high in the Alps. You hike through seemingly endless meadows before gradually ascending Three Brothers Mountain.
The last kilometer to the summit is a steep and rocky climb, but the 2,272m summit is worth it. The hike can be done in one day, but if you have more time, consider camping at one of the backcountry areas along the trail and extend your trip to beautiful Lake Nicomen.
