What are the goals of coaching?

According to my interview with head coach Tom Waiters:

All coaches,

no matter the sport or the level of play,

look to win games.


They also seek to impact the character of their players positively and

ensure their players succeed academically

Based on my interview with Coach Waiters, I learned that coaches write the same things that they read.


In tandem, the genres coaches read and write on a regular basis help them accomplish their objectives.


The most important, genre, however, are the plays. If the plays as a genre are adjusted or changed in anyway, a coach's job and the team's performance would change.
