Why?

When you decline to create or to curate a culture in your spaces, you're responsible for what spawns in the vacuum

Stage One

• Lightning Talks (15 min)
  • 4 2-minute talks on roles and their relation to the community
  • Raise topics for discussion
  • Potentially canvas some extra topics from the audience
• Split into groups to discuss the topics raised (20 min)
• Raise your own topics you'd like to see a talk on Sli.do, and vote on others' (5 min)

Stage Two

• Split into groups to discuss the top 5 topics on Sli.do (5 min)
• Discuss the topics and create 3-slide lightning talks on them (45 min)
• Deliver the speed lightning talks (15 min)

Outputs

• We'll put summaries of the talks, along with the slides and notes, on the Society website
  • Get involved in this process!
• We'll use the discussions to help plan for the next year
• We want to use this to shape the community to welcome as broad a range of people as possible
