DIABETES TYPE 1

• Most commonly genetic cause, usually appearing at childhood
• Viruses can trigger its appearance  

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

• Increased urination
   
• Increased thirst
   
• Extreme hunger - your muscle aren't receiving enough energy
• Weight loss - your body break down muscle and fat to get energy
   
• Fatigue
   
• Blurry vision - to get more fluid into your blood, your body may pull fluid from the eyes 

TESTS 

• A1C test - average blood sugar level => level of 6.5 % or higher indicates diabetes 
   
• Random blood sugar test => 200 mg/dL or higher indicates diabetes
   
• Fasting glucose test => 126mg/dL or higher indicates diabetes

Treatment

• Keep your blood sugar level as close to normal!

  • exercise
