For this session

  • Robotics..!? What is that?
  • What makes them?
  • Types and classifications
  • Research and Applications

Primary task

  • The mechanical structure of a robot must be controlled to perform tasks.

  • Three distinct phases – perception, processing, and action (robotic paradigms).

Robotic Paradigm

Reactive or Deliberately

Levels of

autonomy

  • Teleoperation : A human controls each movement .

  • Supervisory : A human specifies general moves or position changes and the machine decides.

  • Task-level autonomy : The operator specifies only the task and the robot manages itself to complete it.

  • Full autonomy : The machine will create and complete all its tasks without human interaction.

Building blocks

Where does that fit.?

Blocks of robotics

  • Power source
  • Actuation
  • Sensing

  • and counting....

Education and training

We are learning..!
  • Career training

  • Robotics competitions

  • Certification

Employment

We need salary too...!

Technological unemployment

  • An essential component in many modern manufacturing.

  •  As factories increase their use of robots, the number of robotics–related jobs grow.

Military and defence

We can defend you ..!

Defense systems.

Defense systems.

Domestic and household

What would you like for dinner ..?

Domestic robots..

  • Do better, over and over.

  • Type of service robot, an autonomous robot that is used for household chores.

  • Educational or entertainment robots

We are home..

Imaginations is the only limit...!!!

Thinking ...99%.!

Thank you..!
