Song Choice

My groups choice of song is 'Dancing Song' by Little Comets.

We chose this song as we had chosen the genre Indie/alternative rock, but as there are lots of different stands of Indie/alternative rock we needed to decide what route we are going down. Therefore we decided to choose this song as it is upbeat and it lends itself to lots of different ideas for camerawork and mise en scene id​ea's and still fits under then genre of Indie/alternative rock. 

Initial Ideas

We have had the idea that our music video will consist of shots of the band playing in a studio and other locations and shots following a girl our and urban area, having memories triggered by what she sees.

In our music video, we have decided that me and James T are going to be performers in our band, Me as a guitarist and James as a Bass player. We are also bringing in our friends to make up the rest of the band, Issac Murphy as the singer and the bands front man and Charlie Frost as the bands drummer.  

Band Image

For our bands image, we have decided to go down the indie rock root. Our Artists will be wearing smart clothing with a mixture of casual clothing. This will create their own image and bring a flavor and 'Independent' feel to their image and music videos. 

Location Options

He have decided to shoot the clips of the girl in and around Camden town and on the London Underground. This will add a urban feel to the music video which the viewers can relate to.

We also decided to film shots of the girl in a natural environment. We was thinking about filming some shots of her at Nonesuch Park as it provides a large open space for us to film. This can provide a more natural and free feel to the music video.

As well as this, we are going to film the band in a studio like setting. This would add a professional touch to our video.
