On the one hand information wants to be expensive, because it's so valuable. The right information in the right place just changes your life. On the other hand, information wants to be free, because the cost of getting it out is getting lower and lower all the time. So you have these two fighting against each other.

- It is not a dictionary, manual, etc.
- It is online and real-time

- Avoid putting opinions as facts
- Put in context if necessary balancing
- Notability
- Avoid self-promotion, etc.
- Language tone

Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit and distribute
- Nobody "owns" an article
- Your content can be changed completely
- No plagiarism or copy without permission is allowed
- Copyright must be respected
- Only libre content is allowed (some exceptions apply - FAIR USE)
